Fort Clatsop: Rebuilding An Icon

The Daily Astorian newspaper and Ooligan Press have just published a book which reflects on the history of the site of the present day Fort Clatsop, as well as the recent monumental effort put forth by the local community to rebuild the Fort following the October 2005 fire. Comprised of articles written by reporter Tom Bennett, with additional research and an excellent collection of historic and current photos, this book gives the reader insight as to what makes this structure a favorite icon.
