Handmade Shell Earrings

Made of either abalone or dentalium shell and stone, glass, bone or pearl beads representing the style and type of beads traded by the Native Americans and the early traders.

Each pair was handmade by Josephine, a Clatsop & Chinook ancestry descendent of Chief Coboway, Chief Casinno, Chief Concomly, & Chief Carondowanna & member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.

The short dentalium are half the size of the long dentalium. Pictures shown are of long dentalium.

Abalone = Love

Shell = Wealth & Strength

Gold stone = Positivity

Amethyst = Healing

Malachite = Protection

Snowflake Obsidian = Balance

Mahogany Obsidian = Healing

Tigers Eye = Wisdom

Cobalt Blue = Intuition

Aventurine = Good Luck
